Daniel Guzmán is a writer of fiction, film reviews, essays,
and articles.
His work has
appeared in the New York Press, Cinespect, the L
Magazine’s Literary Upstart Reading Series, Mama D’s Arts
Bordello, Rosebud Magazine, Cellstories, and Rio
Grande Review. He has read at such
well-known New York
venues as The Slipper Room, Happy Ending Lounge, and The Cornelia Street
Café.
Interests
include (in no specific order): red
table wine, reading, jazz, burlesque, brilliant madmen, lucid dreams,
oceans, surrealists, film noir, myths, motel rooms, labyrinths, and hot
coffee.
He is a
graduate of Carnegie Mellon’s School of Art.
He is often
described as the Surrealist Fictionario, or the
Gentleman Fantabulist.
He lives in New York, and is now officially a registered Minister
and Wedding Officiant with the City of New York. That’s right. He can marry you.
